Personal Touch Portraits began in 1991 as a result of Victoria’s grandmother prompting her to share her talent for the enrichment of other people’s lives.

After several years of ignoring her abilities, Victoria finally began the 9-month effort to manifest this business with the motivation of another career opportunity coming her way: motherhood! Staying home to raise her children was always a priority and Personal Touch Portraits enabled her to do so. 

With no formal training, Victoria uses many different techniques with different levels of pencil to literally hand craft a portrait in the perfect likeness of her subjects. Any photo or combination of photos can be used as her models to create the perfect composition within a collage representing the person’s hobby, career or special interest. Slight hues of color can be added to make the image even more life-like, and special verses can be inscribed onto the piece to add deeper meaning and sentiment. 

 In order to make her heirlooms affordable, Victoria offers her own framing service for free with various selections of mattes and frames that can be purchased at wholesale prices.

Over the years, Victoria has been able to bless the lives of countless individuals and families. Gracing the walls of homes with love and sentiment to last for generations is the inspiration behind the many hours invested into each portrait. “The real fruits of my labor are the tears of joy I am privileged to see when a client’s heirloom is unveiled.
